My favorite technologies & languages
- JavaScript it's all over the world as our scripting language. In the late 90's I used Perl; HA.
- Next.js - React based powerful framework; feature rich; increasing in popularity for good reason.
- AWS - many services such as Route53; S3; EC2 & Amplify (also use other cloud platforms GCP)
- PostgreSQL - I am proficient with many db's such as MongoDB & SQL Server
- Express.js & Node - Express for API's and Node as our fundamental platform
- Tailwind CSS - have utilized many CSS frameworks over the years this is my favorite currently
- TypeScript - strongly typed JS; an industry standard now a days
- GraphQL - data queries for API's fetching the exact data we need.
- React - frontend JS library; I prefer this architecture over Angular; Vue & Svelte these days

Personal Life - Family
I grew up in the finger lakes in upstate New York with my parents & two older brothers. My father pushed education ever since I was little. While other kids played games on Atari's we had an IBM with 5 1/4 floppy disks that I learned to code on. I enjoyed playing many sports too such as hockey & tennis.
I moved to attend Florida Atlantic University to study computer engineering; met my wife there & have lived in Florida ever since. We have three children; I enjoy spending my spare time with family; coding & still play sports for recreation.
I grew up in NY; moved to Florida to study computer science at FAU where I met my wife. We have three children & I have a lot to be thankful for.
